April got this outfit for her and she is so cute in it. I had to have a headband to match!!!

This is little Jaymie. She was good and posed for some pictures for me. It is sure fun having a new born again. There are lots of things that I am relearning. It is surprising how much you forget.

I met Jasmene at the hospital at 8:30 this morning. I was surprised to see her dressed after taking a shower and feeling great. When Dr. Ofori showed up later on, he was surprised to see her dressed and ready to go home. He knew better than to try to argue with her. So, here she is in the comforts of our home. The nurses raved about Jaymie's outfit and had to get pictures with her and show her off to everyone else.

Jasmene was due on Feb 24th. Her c-section was scheduled for Feb 17th. Since her fluids were so great, it allowed the baby to move around a lot and we feared that she would get wrapped around the umbilical cord. Monday, Feb 2nd, Jaz tested with high fluids again. Ambio test scheduled Feb 3rd and "most likely will deliver after results". First results came back that lungs were very underdeveloped. Jasmene had contractions and went to the hospital that night. We stayed the night waiting secondary tests from ambio and "most likely will deliver in the morning". Wed Feb 4th, secondary tests came back that lungs were just barely underdeveloped. Jasmenes fluids had decreased slightly as well. Scheduled another appointment on Friday and "if fluids haven't dropped, we will deliver baby". Well, Fluids dropped a lot, so Dr. Ofori scheduled c-section for Wed Feb 11th. since Monday was one day before Jasmene hit 38 weeks and Operating room was booked for Tuesday. Jasmene had one last checkup on Monday, Feb 9th. Her fluids had increased a lot over the weekend so she was prepped immediately for a c-section. Jaymie was born at 1:14 pm. weighing 7#8oz, 20" long. Jasmene is recovering well and Jaymie is beautiful and healthy!!

So tomorrow is the big day!! Tuesday February 3, 2009 will be little baby White's birthday. We still don't have a name picked out. We are working on it. As soon as I get home and can function I will post a picture of her. She is finally cooperating with the doctor and is head down in the right position. It will be a C-Section to avoid any complications on my end. So wish us lick and here we go again!!! Jasmene
